Online since 2008, Sammy co-founded Soko Huru — a marketplace that connected over 2,500 Kenyan SMEs to online markets and built a social community of 1.3 million. Frustrated by his own years of trying to learn technology without formal grounding, he returned to university in his thirties and earned a BSc in Data Science. The lessons from that journey — what works, what doesn't, and what Kenya's businesses and children actually need — became the foundation of Esubu.
